He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinton Hatfield and Albinia Hatfield; and his former wives, Althea and Bessie. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hatfield; his children, Alan Hatfield (Tori), Lovell Hatfield (Shelli) and Ernest Hatfield; and his stepchildren, Daniel Spires (late Toni), Douglas Spires (Annette) and Dana Pike. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
