Ellen Medlin Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Medlin of Elwood, Illinois, born in Charleston, Missouri, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Monan and Lucille Monan; her children, George Medlin and Ramona Bokan; and her sister Nancy Garrett (Charles).

She is survived by: her husband Jesse B. "Buck" Medlin; her children, Terry Medlin (Karen) of Wilmington and Gary Medlin (Diane) of Elwood, Illinois; her grandchildren, Shawn, Amy, Tyler Medlin, Jennifer, Beth Babcock, Adam Medlin, Carrie Harris (Dave), Alicia, Mandi, George Jr., Jesse Medlin, Nikki Bricco (Jeremy), Paul Summers, Priscilla Webb (Matt) and Kristina Dowe; and her daughter-in-law Helen Medlin of Joliet. She is also survived by great grandchildren, one brother.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, face masks will be required by all attendees of the visitation and funeral service.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ellen's memory to Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
