She was predeceased by: her husband Junior; her grandchild Richie Ostrowski; her parents, William Swinney and Mabell Swinney; and her siblings, Bill Swinney, Nancy Wigginton and Margie Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Pierce (Joanne) and Donna Ostrowski (Richard); her granddaughters, Brittany Ostrowski and Amanda Koss (Coty); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Lincoln and Harper.

A procession was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the same location.
