It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Schleyer (Elwood, Illinois), who passed away on March 18, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Chuck Jr., Karen Holthaus (Troy) and Todd; his grandchildren, Noah and Jayden Holthaus; his parents, Vernon and Shirley; and his siblings, Vernon, Terry (Chris), Paul (Sandy), Elizabeth Frankenbach (Joe), Mark (Carole), Richard, Russell, Michael (Rosa) and Rose Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Southwest Chicago Christian Schools are appreciated.
