We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2023, at the age of 82, Carolyn Stamets of Elwood, Illinois, born in Hammond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Albert Lindquist and Hester Lindquist (Ball); her husband Stanley Stamets; and her half-siblings, Betty Kavanaugh and Marion Forest Gregory.

She is survived by: her sons, Russell Stamets (Reena) of New Delhi, India and Donald Stamets (Barbara) of Addison, Illinois; her grandchildren, Tristan, Matthew, Freya and Thomas; and her sister Lisa Buccellato (Steve) of Ft. Myers.
