He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bergeson and Emma Bergeson; his wife Joan Alice Bergeson; his siblings, James Theodore (Lorraine), Donald (Melinda), Gerald (Marcella), George, Leonard, Clarence, Arthur (Joyce), Gene (Mary), Raymond Bergeson, Margaret Mattas and Darlene Hartong (Norman); and his sister-in-law Jane Bergeson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Bergeson (Linda) of Decatur, AL, Jody Uhlarik (Steve) of Gary, IN, Tim Bergeson (Mary) of Joliet, IL and Trudy Gallagher (Robert) of Frankfort, IL; his brother Duane Bergeson (Mary Ann) of Joliet, IL; his grandchildren, Joseph Alessio (Carrie), Michael Bergeson (Shannon), Matthew Alessio (Amy Kuo), Luke Bergeson (Kristen), Daniel Bergeson (Melissa), Lisa McKnight (Jay), Shawn Judevine (Rachel) and Mark Bergeson (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Mason, Griffin, Benjamin Alessio, Nina, Noah Manzo, Vera Bergeson, Rian, Kyle, Brooklyn Bergeson and Millicent Judevine; and his siblings-in-law, Winnie, Belva, Christine Bergeson and Donald O'Connor (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
