She was predeceased by: her husband Frank R. Varak; her granddaughter Molly; and her brothers, Paul and James Remsik. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Jean) and Susan; and her grandchildren, Kate, Sarah, Emily, Lauren, Madeline and Emma.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
