He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Landon and Elsie Landon (Catron); and his siblings, Rodney, Joseph Landon Jr. and Elsie Jane Landon.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Stanley and Steven Landon; his grandchildren, Eric, Dustin, Joey Stanley, Sadie and Sofia Landon; and his brother William "Bill" Landon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in honor of Lowell to the Veterans Association.
