He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan Wood Lasley and Freda Lantz; his children, Harold, Howard Lantz and Robin Diduik; and his siblings, Bernice, Ellsie and Logan.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Siens; his sons, Paul Lantz (Susie) of Wyoming, Fred Lantz (Linda) of Elmwood, Larry Lantz (Carlyon) of Greensboro, NC and David Lantz of Bellevue; and his sister Wilma Stogoski. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
