She was predeceased by: her parent Carmello Sapienza; and her brother Dr. Anthony Rosario Sapienza. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Richard Vazquez (Susan Wawrzynowicz), Laura Vazquez (Jeffrey Chown) and Catherine Bellini (Eugene Bellini); her grandchildren, Todd Vazquez (Sue Kim), Brian Vazquez, Julie Vazquez (Aaron), Justin Barrett (Jennifer Bezark) and Liana Vazquez-Gits; and her great grandchildren, Kellan Barrett, Gavin Barrett, Shane Barrett and Alia Kim Vazquez of Libertyville, IL.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
