He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Richards; his children, Michele Lynn Markiewicz (Gerald) of Kenosha, WI and Leonard Richard Scanlan; his grandchildren, Alexander, Sophia Markiewicz, Meghan and Matthew Scanlan; and his sister Patricia DeMario (Robert) of Crestwood, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
