Kenneth J. Rooney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth J. Rooney of Elmwood Park, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth J. Rooney to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Kenneth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kenneth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his sons, William "Bill" (Debbie) and Paul (Julie); and his grandchildren, Marin, Ella and Declan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (205 N Prospect Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
