It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Parisi (Elmwood Park, Illinois), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Antoinette Deprest (late Maurice) and William Parisi; and his brother-in-law James Salzburg. He is survived by: his spouse Marion; his children, Lisa McKenner (Vince) and David Parisi (Laura); his grandson William Parisi; his sister Josephine Salzburg; and his sister-in-law Helen Parisi.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 1530 Jackson Ave, River Forest, IL 60305. An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
