It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Schubert (Elmwood Park, Illinois), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edwin; her children, Lynn Slattery (Michael), Ellen Szelina (Ron) and Lora Schaefer (Jim); her grandsons, Tim Slattery (Sara), David Slattery, Scott Schaefer, Andy Szelina and Joey Szelina; and her sibling Lore Drueck (late Fred).

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Seasons Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
