“I just learned of Mrs. Bata’s passing and wanted to extend my sympathy. I am a professional musician now, and I owe a lot of my beginnings to Mrs Bata (and Ms Nastali) for being the first people to teach me about music. I took piano lessons from Mrs Bata at St Ed’s from 5th grade into HS. She was a wonderful teacher, had a great sense of humor, and was just a cool lady, and I learned so much from her. All the best to her family at this time, I’m so sorry for your loss.”
