The memory of Gloria Hourany of Elmwood Park, Illinois, born in Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mady Hourany and Lena Hourany (Hattem); her brother Louis Hourany; her niece Susan Hourany; and her nephew Louis Hourany Jr..
She is survived by: her nephew Steven Parker; and her nieces, Rachel Parker Farrell and Katherine Parker.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Domitilla Church (4940 Washington St, Hillside, IL 60162). A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
