He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Gloria Cruz (Jeremy Koch), Carlos Cruz, Jr. and Ricardo Cruz; his grandchildren, Elena and Omar; his parents, Felix Ramirez and Gloria Ramirez; his siblings, Eddie Cruz (Margie) and Vivian Oliveras (Ruben); his nieces and nephews, Vivian, Damaris, Eddie, Ruben, Jr., Christian and Emilio; and his friends, Guy Micele, Wilfredo "Freddy" and Eddie "Herbie".
