It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Zapfel of Elmhurst, Illinois, born in River Forest, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; and her daughter Arlene Robinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Contreras and Allison Newman; and her grandson David Robinson. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
