It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell M. VanHaelewyn of Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchel J. VanHaelewyn and June E. VanHaelewyn; his siblings, Valier and Pearl; his brother-in-law Jack Goodman; and his pet Piper.

He is survived by: his spouse Lynn; his daughter Christine Pinta; his grandchildren, Pauly, Abby and Jack; and his nieces, Janis Pietras (Peter) and Heather VanHaelewyn. He is also survived by his daughter, friends.
