She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Matthew Cooney; her parents, Helen Cooney and John "Jack" Cooney; her siblings, Kathleen "Kasey" Sparkman (Bill), Linda True (Tim), Carol DeCroix (Jack Haeger) and Kevin Cooney; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa True, Kevin Sparkman (Amanda), Heather True (John Alexa), Erin Sparkman, Kyle Sparkman (Jen) and Jack Haeger (Iris Gonçalves).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 24th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
