He was predeceased by: his mother Deloris Burkdull; his parents-in-law, Rose Marie and Kenneth Borchardt; and his brother-in-law Paul Borchardt. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Smead (late John), Elizabeth Smith (Denis), Susan Leston (Dennis), Emily Tomaselli (Rick), Julie Menzione (Pat) and Tom Borchardt (Charmaine); and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Megan (Emmette), Katie, Amy (Brian), Maggie (Alex), Lisa (Nino), Andrea, Andrew, Stephanie, Jesse, Sawyer, Olivia, Ava and Liam.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
