He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sylvester and Anna Sylvester (Menotti); and his former wife Barbara Sylvester (Orth). He is survived by: his daughters, Maura Navarro (Butch), Barbara Colella, Cadden Kapsalis and Kate Sylvester; his grandchildren, Anthony (Rachel), Michael (Mindy), Taylor (Ryan), Catey (Sean), Madison Navarro, Gino (Danielle), Giulia Colella, Marcos and Caleb Kapsalis; and his wife Bobbe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (134 Arthur St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Saint Peter's Cemetery.
