We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2022, at the age of 60, Richard L. Schmuhl (Elmhurst, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Schmuhl and Florence M. Schmuhl. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Ashe; his children, Jillian Schmuhl (Matt O'Laughlin), Steven Schmuhl and Jason Schmuhl; his grandson Henry O'Laughlin; his siblings, Robert Schmuhl (Deborah Perak), Mary Ann Zulevic (Mike), Catherine Hayes (Patrick), Janaan Moore (Kevin) and Margaret Guldan (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Ashe, Marilyn Morello, Michael Ashe, Suzanne Ashe, Barbara Schultz, Timothy Ashe, Kathy Osman, Patrick Ashe and Monica Knapp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
