We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 79, Philip E. Dungey of Elmhurst, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess W. Dungey and Florine Dungey of Belleville, IL.; his brother John; and his brother-in-law Bill Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dungey; his daughter Kristen Cooper; his sister Jane Sweeney; his nieces, Dr. Gina Schellhase (Dean), Andrea Passantino (Mike) and Amy Gurchiek (Chris); his grandchildren, Erik Witteck (Aaliyah), Mitch Witteck and Katie Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Forest, Oliver and Mason.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to either West Suburban Animal Shelter in Downers Grove, IL or Unity Hospice & Palliative Care of Chicago would be greatly appreciated.
