He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen and John Oscar Sr.; his brother John Oscar Jr. (Willie Jo); and his father-in-law Preston Pingel. He is survived by: his children, Brent Oscar (Elizabeth), Derek Oscar (Jennifer) and Jessica Rascon (Sergio); his grandchildren, Preston, Christian Oscar, Joel and Audrey Rascon; his sisters, Dolores (late Leonard Budney) and Patricia Mascari; his mother-in-law Dorothy Pingel; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Pingel, Paul Pingel (Kristen Koby), David Pingel (Shirley) and Lisa Pingel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and their children, and lifelong high school friends.
