He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy Smith (late John) and Donald. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Davey (Brian), Becky Schober and Sara Schober; his grandchildren, Clayton Davey, Sophia Davey, Emma Davey, George Finke and Lolla Finke; and his sister-in-law Kathie Evenson (late Ben). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home (435 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421-9309).
