He is survived by: his wife Betty Burgener; his sons, David (Claudia), Gary and Randy (Heidi); his grandchildren, Karen Kusmierz (Mike), Kim Binsfeld (James) and Amy Zeiher (Bryan); and his great grandchildren, Ella and Reid Kusmierz.
