She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kevin; her daughter Sheila Billenstein (Matthew); her grandchildren, Nora and Matthew Billenstein; her sisters, Sheila Cockerell (Bill) and Eileen Shannon (Joe); her nieces and nephews, Daniel Shannon (Betsy), Eileen Asmussen (Marc), Kathleen O'Loughlin (JJ), Maureen Carpenter (David), Patrick (Jill) and Michael Shannon (Ann Marie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Maggie, Molly Shannon, Ryan, Brigid, Tyler Asmussen, Casey (Amanda), Michael, Shannon O'Loughlin, Kathleen Hohner (Michael), Kelly, Sean Carpenter, Cailin, Brennan, Jack, Liam and Gavin Shannon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
