He is survived by: his father Eugene Monroe; his daughters, Ann Norman (Christopher) of Alton, IL, Carolyn Thomas (Michael) of Tyler, TX and Emily Monroe (Dan Lucchesi) of Elmhurst; his grandchildren, Brian, Ethan, Molly Norman, Sean and Megan Gentry; his siblings, Scott (Cheri) of Morton, IL, Dana Willi (Mark) of Kickapoo, IL and Shelley Kirley of North Carolina; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Marie Spears (Jay) of Dallas, TX, Amy Season (Michael) of Bradenton, FL, Tierney Burgett of Fairhope, AL and Philip Burgett of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
