He was predeceased by: his wife Jean. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Catherine), Jennifer Lindberg (Chris), Katharine Mendenhall (Brian) and Ted (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Isobel, Seán, Conor, Lucas, Emma, Audrey, Eleanor, Patrick, Ryan and Shea; and his siblings, Joseph McKiernan (Sue), Mary Kennedy (Tom) and Bob McKiernan (Linda). He is also survived by father to his four children, and an even better grandfather to his grandchildren.
