Simonaitis Jr. (Elmhurst, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dr. John J. Sr. (Catherine); and his siblings, Catherine Crean (late Robert) and Joseph Simonaitis (late Rita). He is survived by: his wife Grace A.; his children, Mary Sanders (Thomas Jr), Ann LeRose (Jim Yarbrough), Susan of John, III., Alice Miller (Steve), Diane and William Simonaitis (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Claude LeRose (Emily), Catherine Hoffner (Slaton), David Nelson, Kate Sanders, Patrick Simonaitis, Ruth Moore (Scott), Bennett Sanders (Jordan), Carly, Parker, William Simonaitis, Luke Sanders, Tyler and Nicholas Miller; his great grandchildren, Graham, Hudson LeRose, Henry, Harrison Hoffner and Elliott Sanders; and his sisters, Leonarda Simonaitis and Anne Cappuzzello (late Joseph).

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Visitation Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
