He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Rose; his son James Grbac; and his sisters, Lydia Sandrin and Eleanor Pietryck. He is survived by: his children, Margaret "Peggy" Goodman (Michael), Judy Ippolito, Nancy Gerenstein and John I. Grbac Jr. (Maria Katsanis); his grandchildren, David, Brian Goodman (Megan), Ivy Forman (Ernie), Vince Ippolito (Kristine), Ryan (Tiffany) and Zach Gerenstein; and his great grandchildren, Maisie, Finn Goodman, Vincent, Anthony, Joey Ippolito, Reese, Ryder and Emmie-Jo Gerenstein.
