With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Hill Jr. of Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Ann; his parents, Eddie Hill and Winnie Hill; and his brother Charles "Dick" Hill. He is survived by: his great grandchild Poky; his friend Juanita "Lynn" Mathiasen; his wife Juanita "Lynn" Hill; his children, Wendy Kennedy (Mark), Kurt Hill (Dedee), Laura Thon (Michael) and Bob Hill (Diana); his stepdaughter Michelle Mathiasen; his grandchildren, Mark A. Kennedy (Holly), Katy Kennedy, Andrew Hill (Debbie), Daniel Hill (Veronica), Jordan Hill (Kim), Abbey Erber (Joshua), Collin Hill (Megan), Wendy Hill, Kyle Hill (Kelsey Woods), Joshua Mathiasen, Justin Hill, Olivia Hill and Aryanna Mathiasen; his great grandchildren, Quinn Kennedy, Morgan Kennedy, Isabella Erber, Trenor Erber, Amber Erber, Shaw Hill, Brendan Erber, Natalie Hill, Rebekah Hill, Katelyn Erber, Wesley Hill, Caleb Hill, Madison Hill, Callie Jo Hill, Teddy Hill, Jack Kennedy and Dani Hill; and his sister-in-law LaVerne Hill.

Service and interment are private due to public health concerns regarding Covid-19 and will be held for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation is requested to be made in Jack's honor to The Bosworth Scholarship Fund at Elmhurst University.
