It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carl Hostetler (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Hostetler and Ben Hostetler. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Katherine Ripper (Tony) and John Hostetler, Jr. (Ashlee); his grandchildren, AJ Ripper, Maddy Ripper, Hazel Ripper and Adaline Hostetler; and his siblings, Harry Hostetler (Marie) and Roberta Kamerlander (Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Mt. Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60106).
