He is survived by: his spouse Bernice Hamstra; his children, Mike Boeringa (Drea), Laura Lanenga (Jim), Linda Meyer (Dave) and John III Boeringa (Gloria); his grandchildren, Hannah Karsner (Mike), Elizabeth, Sarah, Grace, Yirga, Daniel Boeringa, Lindsay Slovey (Russ), Jaime Lanenga (Stacey), Jessica Lanenga (Mike Ruffalo), Jason Lanenga (Stephanie), Randi Muhlena (Ryan), Ben Meyer (Melinda), Josh Meyer (Anna), Matt Meyer (Carlie Herich), Sam Meyer (Michelle), Jonathan, Kristen, Zach and Isaac Boeringa; his great grandchildren, Riley, Emily, Blake, Jacob, Layton, Madison, Quinn, Lucas, Rebecca, David, Liam, Aiden, Tessa, Callan, Corbin, McKenzie, Kaci and Peter; and his siblings, Gertrude Tazelaar (late Ray) and Florence Davids (late John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
