James Garncarz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Garncarz (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara McInturf and Joseph Garncarz. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Dragisic; his sister Alyssa Gutzwiler; his nieces and nephews, Zak and Lexi Gutzwiler; his parents-in-law, Rajko and Radojka Dragisic; his siblings-in-law, Jack and Mira Dagisic; and his pet Houby. He is also survived by many other family members, kumovi, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A wake will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (5701 N Redwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60631).
