He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Sr. Kasmark and Dorothy Kasmark; his children, Chris Lorenzen (Denise Dayan) and Amanda Lorenzen Gardstrom (Dave Gardstrom); his grandchildren, Ella and Kendall; his siblings, Faith, Donna and Ricky; and also, Tom and Dan Lorenzen.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred's name to the Concussion Legacy Foundation at 361 Newbury Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02115. The Concussion Legacy Foundation works to end sport-related dementia through prevention and research.
