He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vivian; his daughters, Sarah Michaelis and Lucinda Michaelis (Larry Harpster); his grandchildren, Andrew Harpster (Holly) and Kristen Mijarez (Ivan); and his siblings, Walter Michaelis (Judy), Elwood "Mike" Michaelis and Marilyn Fox (Cecil). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
