Diana left this world on February 14, 2025 at the age of 45, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her cousins, Cecilia G. Meléndez and Francisco J. Meléndez; her uncles, Jose Meléndez, Heriberto Meléndez, Juan Meléndez and Isidro Nevárez; her aunt Guillermina Meléndez; and her grandmother Luciana Vega.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Cazares (Jose Cazares), Jessica Vargas (Juan Uribe), Priscila Vargas and Diana P. Vargas; her grandson Sebastián Uribe; her mother Guadalupe Melendez; her sister Wendy Santillán; her nieces, Angelica Rodriguez and Nataly Rodriguez; and her nephew Jesus Rodriguez.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church (750 Old Indian Trail, Aurora, IL 60506). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spring Lake Cemetery (745 N Lincoln Ave, Aurora, IL 60505).
