It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amanda O'Brien Szilva (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Phillip, Arlene Liberto, John and Joan O'Brien; and her godfather Johnny O'Brien.
She is survived by: her husband Andrew Szilva; her child Harlow; her pet Saidee; her parents, Terrence O'Brien and Paula O'Brien; her parents-in-law, Andrew and Bernadette Szilva; her sister Rachel O'Brien; and her siblings-in-law, Paulette O'Connor (Cornelius), Sandi Marcotte (Trevor), Linda Hager (Andrew), Nancy Diaz (Guillermo) and Steven Szilva (Danielle).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
