We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2022, at the age of 67, Paul Thomas Popejoy of Ellsworth, Illinois, born in Fairbury, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Popejoy and Sherrill Popejoy (Taylor); his stepfather Donald "Zimmie" Zimmerman; his children, John Popejoy (Brenda) of Farmer City and Jaime Cook (Craig) of Yulee, FL; his brothers, Ray Popejoy (Susan) of Fairbury and Greg Popejoy (Kathy) of Fairbury; his parents-in-law, Richard and Elsie Schaffer of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Axel and Lexi Popejoy; and his parents-in-law, Londyn and Ryker Cook. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County or Ellsworth United Methodist Church.
