It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald W. Terven (Ellsworth, Illinois), born in Rural, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Terven and Emma Stinde Terven; and his sisters, Phyllis Sweet and Maxine Winston. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo Shirey; his children, Tim Terven of Cooksville, Illinois and Donna Terven of Lexington, Illinois; his granddaughters, Jennifer Cole and Wendy Sessions-Moore (Jake); his great grandchildren, Austin (Michelle), Jacob, Megan O'Neall, Nathan and Carley Hail; and his brother Dale Terven of Philo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ellsworth United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
