We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Tom Thornton of Elkville, Illinois, born in Dowell, Illinois. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thornton and Mercie Thornton (Bourland); his daughter Gaye Lynn Thornton; and his brother Jerry Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Glenna J. Carter; his daughter Gina Brown (Matt) of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Matthew Brown (Jaime) of Du Quoin and Lindsay Sherrill (Derek) of Clarksville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Maddox Brown, Layna and Jacob Sherrill.
