She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Chastain and Helen Marie "Sally" Chastain (Sutton); and her siblings, Robert Brock, Sr., Jerry Chastain and Donna J. Chastain.
She is survived by: her sons, John Gassel of Elkville and Bryan Irvin of Arkansas; and her brothers, Doni Chastain of Kentucky and Terry Chastain. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
