He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Maude Isella Francis Walters (Keeling). He is survived by: his wife Mona Viola Griffin; his children, Stanley Tripp of Du Quoin, Ceila Tripp of Du Quoin, Cristie Smith (Tom) of Du Quoin, Shannon Walters of Du Bois, Tracy Cobin (Tom Reams) and Jamie Martie (Darren) of Elkville; and his siblings, Colleen Milligan of Carbondale and Robert Walters. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
