She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Barnett and Stella Barnett (Shelton); her husband Cornelius Underwood; and her siblings, Leslie Barnett, Cleadus Barnett, Norman Barnett, Harlan Barnett, Inis Drake and Letha Johnson.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Don Johnson of California, Mary Sikorski of Energy, IL, Gary Johnson of California, Rick Barnett of Florida and Linda Ellet of DeSoto, IL. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
