With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Dean Bowlin of Elkville, Illinois, born in Franklin, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Samples (Kirkpatrick) and Geoffrey Bowlin; his great grandchild Oakley Renee Bowlin; and his brothers, Howard Bowlin and Hobbie Bowlin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Wade Bowlin of Elkville, Branden Lewis (Sadie) of Elkville, Seth Bowlin of Elkville, Salena Bowlin of Elkville, Jacob Bowlin of Elkville and Maycee Bowlin of DuQuoin; his great grandchild Wynter Jean Bowlin of Elkville; his sisters, Phyllis Robinett and Diane Utley; and his sister-in-law Joann Bowlin. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Elkville-Zeigler-Royalton Girls' Basketball Program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
