He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew and Mildred G. Huff (Wisely); and his brother Charles Huff. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rector; his children, Melissa May (Matthew), Deanna Huff, Christina Harsy (Ryan) and Kenneth Huff (Laura); his grandchildren, Tiffany Owens, Katherine Watts, Jessica Watts, Chelsea Huff, Emily Thibert, Casey Weisel, Jacob Harsy, Miranda May, Jackson Harsy and Justin Harsy; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Layla, Hazel, Oliver, Makaiah and Scarlett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (510 N 4th St, Elkville, IL 62932). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Elkville Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and/or Elkville First Baptist Church.
