She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Karnes and Mary Karnes (Bolen); and her husband Charles Barwick. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Barwick (Jane) of Du Quoin and Carmen Helmer (Dan) of Du Quoin; and her grandchildren, Nathan Barwick (Kitoria) of Du Quoin, Christy Stewart (Mike) of Carterville, Paige Lilly (Jeremiah) of Jacksonville, FL and Jada Helmer (John Porter) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
