He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey C. of Elkhart and Anita Stahl Van Pelt of Elkhart; and his son William Adam Van Pelt (Sarah) of Buford, GA.. He is survived by: his grandson Jacob; his sister Virginia Van Pelt of Elkhart; and his aunts, Carol Stahl of Albuquerque and Priscilla Johnson (Pat) of Mattoon, IL.
